Event coordinator Noelle Carter's main priority is running the successful company her grandparents founded. After all, they're the ones who raised her, and she's the one they entrusted their company to after their deaths. So when a letter comes across her desk inviting her to plan the Spring Fling in her grandmother's hometown of Balsam Falls, Nebraska, she's faced with a choice: stay and work on maintaining Carter, Inc.'s current success, or go and take a leap of faith--outside of her comfort zone.
For contractor Wynn Bryant, helping others is the key to life's greatest blessings. Over the past ten years, he and his brother have built homes for those who need them, creating a reputable name for themselves. Between that and helping out at the Serendipity Inn, his parents' bed and breakfast, he's put his other dreams on the back burner for now. Until the mayor ropes him into restoring The Gardens with a beautiful but guarded young CEO from Mississippi.
Connected by a desire to help others, Wynn and Noelle dive into restoring a neglected piece of Balsam Falls's history while learning from, and of, their own pasts. Together they uncover past secrets, current challenges, and help each other discover healing and forgiveness in ways neither imagined. Will their discoveries lead to love, or are some things better left as they are?

My Thoughts
In this new book by Cleopatra Margo we are introduced to the Bryant family and the town of Balsam Falls. This is a new series for this author and so there are a lot of details surrounding the story between the families, their relationships with one another and the residents of this quaint town. I am saying all that so you aren't scared by the length of this book. It is 400 pages, which at first I didn't know I could accomplish but you get so wrapped up into the story and the lives of the characters time just seems to fly away as you are turning the pages.
I really loved Wynn! He is a great character. He has a playfulness about him and the sarcasm that slips out of him was just perfection. Let us not forget the devotion he has towards his family truly making him swoon worthy in my book. I love Noelle and him together. They make such a great couple. It was great to see the relationship blossom throughout the story.
I have read a few books by this author and I can say that she has definitely grown in her craft. Her themes tend to center around family which I think its great as we don't tend to see that as much in books anymore. She weaves faith elements throughout her story flawlessly and truly makes the characters come alive. Overall I thought this series is off to.a great start! I can't wait to read the next installment of the Bryant family!
Total side note and this is for the homeschool mom in me: I love that Wynn is a proponent of homeschooling being that he was a homeschooler himself!
My Rating: 4 Stars/ Really Enjoyed it!
