Hello Friends!
It's another Top Ten Tuesday hosted by the Artsy Girl. Today's prompt is Books That Make You Smile. When I think about these classics they always bring a smile to my face. They are just enjoyable books that you can read over and over again and still find enjoyment out of them and most of the time they spark a forgotten memory.
I am glad that my kids have also enjoyed some of these books as we read them together. We are currently enjoying the Penderwicks as a family read.
What books make you smile the minute you pick them up? Let me know in the comments!
Oh, what a fun list!
ReplyDeleteMy TTT .
Thanks of stopping by! Your list is very interesting. I would have never thought of dictionaries and encyclopedias but I get it! Very neat!
DeleteGreat job this week! I see a lot of my childhood faves on your list, and they have such pretty cover designs. :)

Thanks and thank you for stopping by! I loved your list as well!
DeleteANNE and the HP books definitely make me smile. Anne is such an irrepressible heroine. She's on my list today, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy TTT!
Thanks for stopping by! I know I absolutely LOVE Anne!! She is at the very top of my list!
DeleteI have read 4 of the books you've listed and they are books that makes me happy to read them. For some odd reason, I just couldn't finish reading 'Little women', perhaps I should try the audio version as one blogger suggested.
ReplyDeleteAlmost all the books I read makes me smile at one time so my list would be pretty long but I'll list two books for today : 'The story girl' by L.M. Montgomery - that is such a sweet book and also the sequel 'The golden road' is quite amusing.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Have a lovely day.
I think the book Little Women would be great as an audio book especially if you couldn't get into it. I know its not for everyone. I have not read the Golden Road yet but it's on my list to do so!
DeleteI love your blog! Thanks for stopping by!
